Halloween is upon us and why not kick it off right with six really gruesome Marvel Comic moments?
1. Hang them out to dry:
Punisher was tracking down a gang of Russians keeping women hostage and forcing them into prostitution. In order to get close to the people in charge, Punisher had to force one of their leaders to give him all the information he had on his operation. Problem with that is this guy had more than likely been tortured before and wouldn't give up any information easy. So what does Frank Castle do? What he does best. He get's creative. He drugs the guy and ties him to a tree. While the guy is asleep, he ties his intestine to a tree. The guy wakes up and tells him everything he wants to know.
2. Sentry makes a wish:
During the early stages before of The Siege of Asgard, Norman Osborn required the help of his teammate Ares to put a plan together. Ares refused until Norman told him that Loki was now sitting on the throne. Ares said to Norman that if he finds out that he is lying that he would take Norman's head off armor and all. Guess what? Norman was obviously lying. When Ares went to make good on his promise, Ares is attacked by The Sentry. Ares may be the Greek God of War, but Sentry's power levels would make Vageta break his scouter. Sentry ended the fight by ripping Ares in half like a dry wishbone.
3. Venom can't kill you but...:
Mac Gargon was no longer the z-list villain the Scorpion. Mac was now the very popular Venom. With that popularity came Venom's psychotic tendencies. Over and over again, Mac had to be reminded to try and hold back his homicidal urges since he was now a Thunderbolt and technically a hero. On one of their first missions, Venom was specifically told NOT to kill the guy they were after. After getting hit harder than he expected, Venom grabs The Steel Spider's arm and says "We're not allowed to kill you, you little jerk. But I can do everything up to killing you". So instead, Venom rips the Steel Spider's arm off his body with his mouth.
4. Shotgun for the win:
The Punisher had been running solo for a long time until out of the blue, his old partner Micro pops up and attacks Castle and kidnaps him. He hoped to bring him in so he and Castle could work for The U.S. Government. Frank Castle obviously refuses saying he won't kill the monsters that the government helped create. Eventually Punisher escapes and Micro also escapes too after finding out that their secret location had been compromised. After Micro helps Castle fight off the people trying to kill him, Punisher shoots Micro from point blank range with a shotgun for betraying him. In Punisher's defense, Micro did kidnap him and Castle gave him a chance to run saying he'd kill him after.
5. Ultimate Hulk vs The Aliens:
During an alin invasion, Captain America comes across a villain that he knows he can't beat. So what does Cap do? He sends in the Hulk after him and boy was this a great idea. Not only does the Hulk beat the Chitauri's leader, he flat out dominates him and talks crap while he does it. That isn't the gruesome part. The part that was bad was after he's done and the alien is dead, the Hulk eats him. Bet it tastes like chicken.
6. Old Man Logan isn't good for the stomach:
Logan went out for revenge against the Hulks for eating his family and he does it in style. Logan kills every single one of the Hulks until he reached Bruce Banner. The two fought and once Wolverine gained the upper hand, Banner turned into the Hulk and ate Logan. It looked like Logan was dead until the Hulk started getting stomach pains later in the day. Fun fact, even at his advanced age Logan can heal from being eaten. Hulk found that out after Logan busted out of his stomach.
