Since the release of X-Men in 2000, comic books films have slowly taken over theaters everywhere (much to the Oscars chagrin). Thanks to Playstation, comics are now making a come back in other areas of the media: TV and video games.
This week we saw the release of two new trailers. One from the Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming series Powers and the next installment of the mega hit Batman video game series Batman: Arkham Knight.
Powers is a ground breaking series that explores the other side of the world of super heroes as we follow Detective Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim investigating the misdeeds and murder of super heroes. Series is set to begin March 10th on the Playstation Network.
Meanwhile in Gotham, we join Batman in this finale chapter as he protects the city from the fearsome Scarecrow and his cohorts including Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Two-Face, Penguin and the Riddler. This game also features the ability to get behind the Dark Knight's whip* and race through the streets of Gotham.
* A whip is what the kids are calling automobiles or cars these days; the Batmobile can known as a whip.
